The Flower Pod

The packaging designed specifically focuses on presenting consumers with something different and unseen, while providing consumers with a more convenient and efficient way of displaying and caring for their flowers. This concept includes a pod component in which the stems of the flowers are placed in. Attached to this pod, at the base, is an unscrewable attachment. Inside this attachment is a food tablet for the flowers, which is made to dissolve over a period of time, to ensure the flowers last for a satisfactory and reasonable period. When the flowers are displayed in store, the pods will be filled with water from the top opening, to ensure they remain fresh before sold to consumers. When consumers have purchased the product, the unscrewable attachment to the pod will be removed and foil seels can be peeled off from both sides of the compartment. This will open up the holes spread across the surface on either side to allow water to flow through the compartment, in which the food tablet is stored. The water flowing through this compartment, will allow the food tablet to dissolve. Along with this pod is a rectangular vase sold with the bunch of flowers. The pod will rest perfectly in the vase. On each vase is a removable sticker which displays information on the product, and steps on how to use the flower pod component. This vase is designed to be removable, to allow consumers to display the vase once purchased. This product provides consumers with greater convenience. This eliminates the struggle of trying to find a suitable vase for the flowers, trying to understand how to utilize the flower food provided, and rearranging the flowers when placed in a vase.
